EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an advanced psychotherapy model that combines psychology with physiology in a way that allows a person to identify and “clear” past traumatic events. These events can be as seemingly insignificant as an old sports injury. We know how to work around them and often lose sight of the fact that they are having an effect on our overall performance.
Why is EMDR the tool you need for performance enhancement?
Its effects are fast and permanent. We all set goals throughout our lives. Whether they are personal or professional, they direct nearly all of our decisions and actions, and attaining them can provide rewards that go far beyond the actual goal itself. We have the drive, we have the knowledge and we have the skills. Too often, however, we also have unknown or unexplainable blocks that keep us from reaching our goals. EMDR can not only help identify these blocks but also get rid of them, allowing you to finally break through the barriers that have kept you from achieving your peak performance.
EMDR has been successfully used with a variety of physical and emotional blocks including:
• Performance anxiety
• Panic and anxiety disorders
• Issues with food and weight
• Chemical dependency
• Relationship issues
• Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
• Depression and many other issues
You don’t have to settle for less or accept limits to your goals. I will develop a treatment plan that is designed specifically for you. We won’t just talk about it, we’ll do something about it.
